Overview
Application permissions define the actions a future client may request. They should reflect both technical scope and the organization business policy governing the resource.
Key concepts
Model read, draft creation and business approval separately. Permission evaluation should use the target organization rather than trusting an organization id supplied in a body.
Implementation considerations
Changes to an application grant need a review trail. Do not infer financial authority from a successful authentication exchange.
Illustrative data model
This local fixture shows a possible representation for the concepts above. It is not an endpoint response, production configuration or a claim that the described capability is implemented.

}Design review checklist
- Document which organization owns the application permissions representation and which actor may view or change it.
- Test the boundaries of application id, scope, organization id, version using synthetic values, including missing or inconsistent references.
- Before future implementation, obtain an approved contract and review failure behavior. This documentation does not authorize production activation.
Proposed data types
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| application_id | string | Stable fictional application reference; not a secret and not evidence that a resource exists. |
| scope | array<string> | Illustrative minimum-access grant names, not issued or finalized production scopes. |
| organization_id | string | Stable fictional organization reference; not a secret and not evidence that a resource exists. |
| version | integer | Illustrative resource revision for detecting stale updates; no live concurrency contract is published. |
