Overview

A possible Slack workflow could notify an authorized reviewer about pending work. Posting a message is not approval, and a channel identifier is not a finance permission.

Key concepts

Resolve recipients and use minimal message detail with a link to an authorized review interface. Deduplicate notifications.

Implementation considerations

No Slack messages or interactive actions are sent. Any future decision action needs independent identity, scope and business-state validation.

Illustrative data model

This local fixture shows a possible representation for the concepts above. It is not an endpoint response, production configuration or a claim that the described capability is implemented.

Design review checklist

  • Document which organization owns the slack integration representation and which actor may view or change it.
  • Test the boundaries of notification id, approval id, recipient id, channel id using synthetic values, including missing or inconsistent references.
  • Before future implementation, obtain an approved contract and review failure behavior. This documentation does not authorize production activation.
