Overview
A possible NetSuite design would align expense information with entity-specific accounts and required dimensions. One company account code may not be sufficient across subsidiaries.
Key concepts
Map subsidiaries, departments and accounting periods explicitly. Track external ids alongside source versions.
Implementation considerations
No NetSuite session or API request is created. Required fields and posting semantics must be verified for the customer configured environment.
Illustrative data model
This local fixture shows a possible representation for the concepts above. It is not an endpoint response, production configuration or a claim that the described capability is implemented.

}Design review checklist
- Document which organization owns the netsuite integration representation and which actor may view or change it.
- Test the boundaries of subsidiary id, department id, account id, mapping version using synthetic values, including missing or inconsistent references.
- Before future implementation, obtain an approved contract and review failure behavior. This documentation does not authorize production activation.
