Overview
A future Postman collection could package proposed requests for review. A documentation fixture should retain placeholder hosts and credentials so importing text does not target a real service.
Key concepts
Use explicit environment variables, disable automatic credential population and keep example responses recognizable as fixtures.
Implementation considerations
No executable collection or production environment is published. Do not add pre-request scripts that contact authorization or financial services.
Illustrative data model
This local fixture shows a possible representation for the concepts above. It is not an endpoint response, production configuration or a claim that the described capability is implemented.

}Design review checklist
- Document which organization owns the postman collections representation and which actor may view or change it.
- Test the boundaries of base url, environment, method, fixture id using synthetic values, including missing or inconsistent references.
- Before future implementation, obtain an approved contract and review failure behavior. This documentation does not authorize production activation.
Proposed data types
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| base_url | string | Reserved illustrative origin; never replace it with an application host or production credential. |
| environment | string | Documentation-only environment label. No hosted sandbox or production API is available. |
| method | string | Illustrative HTTP method; no request is executed by the documentation UI. |
| fixture_id | string | Stable fictional fixture reference; not a secret and not evidence that a resource exists. |
