Overview
A payment notification could inform an authorized recipient about a defined state change. Its message should accurately distinguish initiated, processing, completed and returned outcomes.
Key concepts
Bind the notification to a verified state version and deduplicate repeated provider events. Limit recipient-visible financial detail.
Implementation considerations
No email, chat or webhook is transmitted here. A future notification must not announce completion from an unverified processing acknowledgment.
Illustrative data model
This local fixture shows a possible representation for the concepts above. It is not an endpoint response, production configuration or a claim that the described capability is implemented.

}Design review checklist
- Document which organization owns the payment notifications representation and which actor may view or change it.
- Test the boundaries of notification id, reimbursement id, recipient id, status using synthetic values, including missing or inconsistent references.
- Before future implementation, obtain an approved contract and review failure behavior. This documentation does not authorize production activation.
